Profile and Expertise

Nichol is an Associate in the firm’s dispute resolution team. He graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2011 and was awarded the Michael Kirby Chambers University Prize and the Lexis Nexis Legal Research Prize both in the same year.

He regularly represents and advises listed companies, MNCs and SMEs in a wide spectrum of matters. His practice is focused on civil and commercial dispute resolution work and in particular, shareholders’ disputes and investment recovery work. Nichol has also worked on cases involving high-value contractual disputes, insolvency, contentious probate proceedings, professional negligence, defamation and white-collar crime.

Nichol also advises various cultural and non-profit organisations on a pro bono basis. He is an active volunteer with the Law Society’s Pro Bono Services Office.
