Profile and Expertise

Zhong Ye graduated from The University of Sydney with Bachelor of Law (Honours Class I) and Bachelor of Commerce.

Zhong Ye is called to the New South Wales Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia and is a member of the New South Wales Law Society. He is also a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore.

He is able to assist on general corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, technology and banking and finance matters. Being fluent in English, Mandarin and Japanese, he enjoys breaking down complex legal concepts into easily-comprehensible solutions for his clients and delivering them in the language and cultural medium that each client may be more comfortable in.

Zhong Ye started his legal career in Sydney with one of the premier Australian firms which subsequently merged with, among others, one of the largest PRC firms to form an international law firm centred in Asia-Pacific, working on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, acquisition, corporate and fund financing, and other general corporate and financing matters in both the Australian domestic and international market.

Upon his return to Singapore, Zhong Ye joined the Singapore office of one of the largest international law firms and continued to practise in corporate and acquisition finance and generally focusing on cross border work from the Asia Pacific region.
