Profile and Expertise
Chyntia joined DK & Situmorang Lawyers in November 2017 as legal intern and being promoted as junior legal counsel in February 2018 after obtained her Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the University of Indonesia (UI),
majoring in Civil Law.
Chyntia was graduated with the highest GPA (3.77 out of 4.00) and also was a finalist
in the UI Faculty of Law’s Outstanding student. In 2017, she had an internship in one of the mining company in Indonesia and received honour as best participant. While in law school, she was also actively involved in variety of student activities and organizations, including serving as Manager of Literacy and Writing Division
of the UI Law Faculty’s Centre for Legal Research and Studies (2016), Project Officer of law student’s journal named JURIS (2016),
and secretary of UI Hindu Student Community (2014-2015).
She was also actively involved in various competitions in the field of contract drafting,
essay writing, and debate.
Since joining DK & Situmorang Lawyers, she has gained valuable experience working at General Corporate Practice
of Area, which provide legal services in banking, corporate, and investment.
She has been involved in:
Conducting a series of research in:
registration of processed food;
required licenses of various fields of business;
Assisting in drafting legal due diligence in the framework of:
acquisitions (main business of target company is wholesale of food and other beverages);
joint ventures (main business of target company is wholesale of machines, electronic and telecommunication equipment, and management consulting);
assisting in drafting legal memorandum regarding severance payment for employees who resigned and pension fund contributions as components of wages; distributorship in Indonesia (for a global enterprise software vendor), and visa application;
assisting in drafting employment agreement and company regulation;
reviewing employment and shipping agreement;
assisting litigation matters related to debts;
drafting gap analysis of Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 19/12/PBI/2017 regarding The Implementation of Financial Technology;
preparing all documents regarding registration of trademark application at Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights;
preparing all documents regarding revocation of business and taxes licenses related to the dissolution of the company to various government agencies.
