Profile and Expertise

As a founding member of two universities, Tokai University Faculty of Law and Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy, Chihiro was involved in the establishment of the undergraduate and graduate schools.
His initial research interests were corporate governance in Japan, Germany, and France, and legal integration in the EU. Later, Chihiro became interested in Asian law when he was involved as a member of a JICA project to support the development of laws for the revision of economic and corporate laws in China.
Chihiro has been visiting Vietnam since around 2005, giving lectures at universities in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and submitting opinions on the revision of Vietnamese enterprise law and investment law.
Chihiro has been giving lectures on business law to working people, and he would like to use his university experience to provide easy-to-understand explanations for clients.
