Profile and Expertise

After working at a major Japanese IT company and a chemical and electronic material company as an in-house lawyer for a total of six years, Ryo has been a member of One Asia Lawyers Vietnam Office since 2019 and is residing in Ho Chi Minh City.

Specialized in legal affairs in the IT and manufacturing industries, which have experienced as an in-house lawyer, Ryo has dealt with a large number of issues, including business development projects, M&A, contract negotiations with business partners, negotiations on intellectual property contracts, and dispute settlement projects, such as management of local subsidiaries (compliance and personnel affairs), compliance and labor affairs.

In cooperation with the headquarters of Japanese companies (such as in Japan and Singapore), Ryo is also good at appropriately communicating the situation of the overseas subsidiaries to the headquarters, and bridging and coordinating the headquarters with the overseas subsidiaries, striving to provide legal advice in an easy-to-understand and careful manner, considering the internal decision-making process so that clients can make appropriate and speedy risk judgments.
