After registered an attorney at law in Japan, Yuki Hashimoto established his own firm in Japan and worked as a representative partner of a law firm with three (3) offices in Japan. He has provided legal service as advisor to a wide range of organization in Japan, including companies in construction, real estate management, system development, real estate brokage, retail, cleaning industries as well as local government and politic parties.
He has extensive experiences in corporate governance matters related to compliance such as Companies Act, Personal Data Protection Act, Anti-corruption and Bribery Policy and investigations related to foreign restriction, license for the Japanese entities entering a business in the ASEAN area including Malaysia, and in subsequent matters related to the establishment of local companies, acquisitions of local companies, business transfers, and Joint Ventures.
He also has a deep understanding of Japanese companies through his experience in running a law firm providing corporate legal services in Japan, and is able to accurately finds the needs of customers and provide appropriate advice.
He has been a member of One Asia Lawyers since September 2020, providing advice on general cross-border Asian legal matters (M&A, regulatory investigations, etc.) with a focus on Malaysia.
